One of our favorites in south okc. Roasted duck is fantastic with the little buns and chili sauce. so good.

So this place is a half half for me. Their duck is really good. It doesn't have that game smell or taste but they seem to be really cheap about everything. I ask for a refill on my drink j get charged I asked for more steamed buns I get charged.. There's not anywhere I can think of in the south side that has good duck so I'm stuck going to dot wo for my Peking duck craze. It's really empty though when I go I remember this place being packed. Over all I go every once in a while. The flat noodle is really good though so that's a positive

This is my first time here in this location. The restaurant itself is very spacious, and it seems very slow on a saturday night. We ordered 3 dishes along with one soup came out to be only $45. Which is not all that bad in my opinion. Considering the fact that 4-5 peolple can share. Service: I have no complaints. They are fine and very helpful. They also keep our drinks filled. Food: Soup bong bong ca: it was quite bland and not very flavorful. It was just okay. I have had better. Seseme chicken: This is really good. I liked it quite a lot. The chicken itself is very juicy and soft, so good. Orange peel chicken or chicken peel dish, I forgot what it called. It is not for my taste to be honest. But my friend enjoyed it a lot more than me. The place is very clean. Very quiet and calm as well. Not a bad restaurant for eating with family, or maybe catching up with some friends over dinner. I think dot wo is a good place to dine sometimes. I am not obsessed over it, nor do I want to go back again and again. The food is nice enough though. Try it out to see if you like it for yourself, because you might have different taste in food than I do.

Food: I have had Chinese food across the country and finally found a place in Oklahoma that has good won ton soup with big chunks of pork and very flavorful broth. The chicken used in the chicken fried rice is juicy and lots of it. Price: Lunch specials are a good deal but the regular menu runs on the high side but food quality evens out with the price. Decor: On the lower side of some places I been to in the Chinese restaurant world. I think they could do much better. Service: Hit and miss for the most part. The older ladies seem more friendlier to me. Overall: I would be back, but just wish the decor and service was better. The food is worth the visit. Take out perhaps.

I had a subpar visit when I came to Dot Wo last week. I was working in the area and figured I'd give it a try since Chinese food is usually a good bet for me. I ordered the chicken with mixed veggies off of the lunch menu. It was great for the price at $6.95 and included an egg roll, rice, crab rangoon and my entree, but my dish was so bland. I don't like having to use soy sauce because of all the sodium, but I could hardly taste anything without adding some sauce. I left disappointed and not sure whether I'll return. The restaurant could also use some much needed decor updates. It felt like the 90s in there.

We came here for a large family dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. It is located in a strip mall and has tinted windows so cannot see in. The dining room is specious and good for groups. We had a large circular table with a "lazy susan." It is clean inside and there were a few TVs showing sports. We ordered a bevy of dishes and I would say that their chicken was better than most Chinese places. The only sketchy dish should have been the best one. The shaken beef was way too raw. I know that you shouldn't have overdone beef, but there was red and blood in some of the pieces. Not acceptable for Chinese food. The sauce was good too, so it was a shame. Given that, the rest of the dishes held up to the test and the service was good as they kept the rice coming.
Fast, good service, great selection, good price, hot and made to order! I love this place at lunch! The lunch menu has something for everyone. The portions are huge and always made to order. It's hard to find a good lunch for about $10 but this place has plenty of choices in that price range! As a bonus it's all made to order so it's hot and not luke warm and served in a buffet line. Keep up the great food!

I honestly liked the Portland location much better. It doesn't taste greasy like it did at this location. My bf enjoys this place very much so, maybe it was just what I ordered. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce as usual and the sauce looked/was extremely oily. The shrimp however was cooked perfectly and tender, but it barely had any black beans in it. The crab rangoon was fine.. nothing great but then again it's just crab rangoon. I'll probably give this place another try but just order something simple like sesame chicken next time.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Average Chinese Restuarant with average food. Nothing tasted amazing nor awful. I ordered seafood udon noodles, salt and pepper quail, and sautéd oysters.
